MOUTAINEERING ON THE PALE DI SAN MARTINO

Via ferrata, recommended for experienced mountaineers

There are many via ferrata near the Rolle Pass, on the Pale di San Martino.  We would like to recommend some of the most beautiful ones: we recommend that you follow them with the right equipment and with advice from expert mountain guides.

• Lugli Bolver via ferrata: an exposed and challenging itinerary, equipped with a steel cord, is reserved for experienced mountaineers. Walkable in about 3 hours. Departure point Rosetta cable car, San Martino di Castrozza.
• Nico Gusella equipped path: medium difficulty, can be completed in about 2 hours. It takes you to the top of Val di Roda, the central chain of the Pale di San Martino. Departure point Rosetta cable car, San Martino di Castrozza.
